        Unallocated lanes are available for purchase at SwimmingSA meets during both long course and short course seasons.

        Please note that lane sales are not available at championships.

        COVID19 - Updated Lane Sale Process. 

        All vacant lanes after close of entries for SwimmingSA meets (excluding Championships) will be available for sale. No additional heats will be created to accommodate lane sales (if multiple swimmers are seeking the same lane names will be drawn from a hat).

        Swimmers must apply by:

        • purchasing lane sale product from Swim Central; and
        • completing the lane sale form; and
        • submitting the form and payment receipt to SwimmingSA.

        Lane Sales will CLOSE 24hrs prior to the meet start date.

        There will be no lane sales on the day of the meet.

        Lanes available and closing time will be subject to COVID capacity and safety requirements.

        Manual Entry Forms may only be used for events that specify their use, or after consultation with SwimmingSA Events.

        SwimmingSA will not accept Manual Entry Forms where Online Meet Entries is open unless otherwise specified.

        All Manual Entry Forms must be sent to events@sa.swimming.org.au prior to the closing date/time for entries.

      • Interstate Clearance
      • Competing outside of South Australia

        Currently all South Australian athletes wishing to compete at domestic meets interstate must request a clearance from SwimmingSA.

        Interstate clearances may only be requested for meets which have been approved by the relevant state swimming association (e.g. Swimming NSW, Swimming Victoria etc.)

        Eligibility: Athletes must be a current and financial member of a South Australian club and submit the clearance form at least two weeks prior to the nominations closing date of the meet you intend on entering.

        Competing Internationally - Please complete the Swimming Australia International Clearance form and submit as per form - Click Here for Form

        Moving Internationally - Please contact SwimmingSA for a release letter.

        FINA Members

        Visiting SA (for less than 6months) - Please provide SwimmingSA with a letter from your federation detailing clearance to compete on their behalf in Australia.

        Permanent Relocation or Visiting SA (for more than 6months) - Please provide SwimmingSA with a letter from your federation confirming your membership has been cancelled and you are able to join an Australian Swim Club.
