SwimmingSA would like to congratulate Emily White from Norwood Swimming Club, on her selection to the 2019 Australian Swimming Team for the Junior World Championships.
Emily is the sole South Australian athlete on the team of 30 swimmers hailing from around the country to be selected to represent Australia at the Championships to be held in Budapest between 20-25th August.
The selection was a great way to finish off a strong National Age Meet for Emily with strong personal bests and medals being achieved in multiple events over the championships.
Emily will be joined by Norwood Head Coach, Shaun Curtis, on this years team. Shaun’s selection is a great accolade for him and the Norwood program with Shaun being one of only 6 coaches selected to the team.
We wish both Emily and Shaun all the best for the World Junior Championships in Hungary and look forward to following her performances in the green and gold in August.
