National Volunteer Week (18-24 May 2020) is upon us.
This year we are thanking all volunteers with the #ColourYourCommunityRed campaign.
‘Colour Your Community Red’ is an online social media campaign to thank and celebrate the almost one million South Australian volunteers. It replaces the annual launch of National Volunteer Week’s parade and BBQ in Adelaide thank you event, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Swimmers join us and encourage everyone – from Silver City Swim Club to Southern Performance Swimming Club to Port Augusta Swimming Club and every Club in between to spend this week acknowledging and thanking your volunteers.
Volunteers stand up and be loud and proud! You do an amazing amount of work in the community and bring us together in tough times.
Light up or decorate your house or pool to ‘spread the red’ from 18-24 May 2020. Tie a ribbon, scarf, table cloth or even a tea towel around your letterbox, fence or tree – take a picture or a video, post it to show how great it is to be or know a volunteer.
