Time qualifying period 1 October 2021 – close of entries

Time qualifying course – LC & SC times accepted. No conversions accepted.

Qualifying times apply to all individual events

Heats

Will be swum seeded by Time.

All swimmers compete in heats irrespective of the number of swimmers entered per event per age group.

Timed Finals

400m, 800m & 1500m Freestyle events will be swum as Timed Finals seeded by entry time, with medals awarded in the following age groups: 12-13 Years, 14-15 Years, 16-18 Years and Open. All multi-Class events will be swum as Timed Finals with medals awarded in the Open category only.

Finals

Finals will be held for all 50m, 100m & 200m events.

Finals will be seeded (for both males and females) in the following order for each event:

1. Open Final (fastest 10 swimmers irrespective of age)
2. Age Finals for male and female in the following age brackets:

• 50m, 100m, 200m Free and IM: 13 Years, 14 Years, 15 Years, 16 Years, 17-18 Years
• 200m Back, Breast, Fly: 12-13 Years, 14-15 Years, 16-18 Years

Note - as per previous championships multiple age group finals may swim together if numbers permit.

Medals

Medals will be awarded in the following age groups for individual events for both males and females.

Swimmers who are 18yrs & Under competing in the Open final are eligible for their age group medal. 

• 50m, 100m, 200m Free and IM: 13 Years, 14 Years, 15 Years, 16 Years, 17-18 Years and Open
• 200m Back, Breast, Fly, 400m, 800m and 1500m: 12-13 Years, 14-15 Years, 16-18 Years and Open
• Multi-Class events: Open

All Officials, Coaches & Team Support must nominate for accreditaiton prior to 12pm 19th August 2024.
