2022 OWS Time Trial provides swimmers with an additional opportunity to achieve the Swimming Australia qualifying times for the 2022 Open Water Championships.
At this time trial, swimmers must achieve the Australian 2022 OWS Championships Pool Time Trial QT to be eligible to enter the Australian Championships.
All swimmers will swim the distance of 5km at the time trial irrespective of which criteria they enter with.
Swimmers are required to bring a support person with them to act as the manual timekeeper & lap counter.

All attendees at the time trial will be required to comply with COVID-19 requirements when attending the time trial including wearing a mask at all times when not swimming.
PLEASE NOTE:
Time Trial spots are limited to 20 swimmers. Should there be more than 20 swimmers eligible based upon the entry criteria swimmers will be ranked according to their previous OWS history and current best times with the top 20 offered places in the time trial.
