Event Programs

Heats programs are included with all Championship Passes - these can be collected at the express entry point near the carpark.
All pre-purchased tickets/program vouchers must be printed out and brought with you at the time of entry.

Please note that online ticket and program sales will close at 9:00am on Wednesday 3 January 2017.

Entries are accepted from current and financial members of all South Australian country clubs.

Visitors from interstate country clubs can also compete, with a relevant interstate clearance from their appropriate state swimming association. 

 

All entries must be completed using Online Meet Entries
To enter online you must enter via the swimmer and have a username and password. Please contact your Club Registrar if you have forgotten your username and password.

  

Entries close at 12.00pm Wednesday 13 December 2017

No late entries will be accepted under any circumstances.

All coaches are requested to produce their ascta membership card to gain entry to the event and on to pool deck.

March On & Opening Ceremony:

The March-On and Opening Ceremony of the Vitor Renmark 2017 South Australian Country Championships will be held on Friday 6th January 2017 at 4.00pm.
All clubs competing at the Championships are strongly encouraged to take part in the March-On.

Marshaling will occur at 3.45pm in the Marshaling tent.

         Pool Deck Access Policy

 

The field of play/pool deck area is defined as the competition area, warm up area/pool, marshaling and ready areas, event administration and command rooms, main competition pool, presentation dais and pool deck seating modules.

The following groups are authorised to access pool deck:

This access privilege may be revoked at any time by the Board, it’s representatives or the Meet Director.

All persons accessing the field of play/pool deck are required to hold a current National Police Clearance or DCSI screening check which is no more than three years old. A copy must be submitted to SwimmingSA prior to accessing the field of play/pool deck area. ASCTA accredited coaches are not required to supply a copy of their clearance as this is an ASCTA requirement.

The field of play/pool deck area is restricted to authorised persons from the time that gates open until 30 minutes after the conclusion of the last event of each session.

Only competitors, technical officials and event staff are authorised to access the marshalling room.

All persons wishing to access pool deck for the championships must complete the following online form and submit their current NPC or DCSI check to [email protected]

Technical Officals do not need to complete this form as they must complete the Officials Registration.

Spot checks will occur throughout the meet to ensure that all persons within the field of play/pool deck are authorised. Penalties will apply for clubs who allow unauthorised/unregistered persons onto pool deck with or without access bands.

Club Packs:

Club Packs will be available for collection during the Pre-Meet Training session between 1.00pm and 3.00pm from Event Control (recording) - please ensure that your Team Manager collects this as they will need to sign for it upon collection.

Included in the packs will be your Team Manager and Coaches program, as well as relay sheets should your club have relay/s entered in the meet.

 

Rewards and Recognition:

Country Championship Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each event.
10 points for 1st, 9 points for 2nd, 8 points for 3rd down to 3 points for 8th place.
Points accumulated by individual swimmers and will be allocated towards perpetual trophies.

Official Event Photography:

The photographer for the 2018 South Australian Country Championships is Sports in Focus.
Sports in Focus will be capturing official team, medal presentation and action photography.
