Junior League

SwimmingSA is proud to introduce the new Junior League, commencing 2016/17 LC, replacing the 11&U JX Series.

The aim of this change is to seperate the series from the Swimming Australia JX program as this has now been changed to incorporate 16&U swimmers. By seperating the meets from this program, we are ensuring the JX brand is consistent across the country as the premier recognition and reward program, and encourage all swimmers 16&U to compete at any endorsed competition South Australia to achieve a JX standart time and reward package.

The Junior League is aimed at encouraging more participation from South Australia's younger swimmers and involving them in a fast paced, fun competition.

Included in the Junior League will be the Ready. Set. Race! program for non-members aimed at encouraging more young peple in to the sport.

Individual points will be awarded based on placing (for swimmers placing 1st - 10th) with the introduction of participation points - each swimmer receives an additional point for competing, regardless of their place!

All points scored at the Junior League meets will also count towards the Development Series Pointscore

SwimmingSA will shortly be seeking expressions of interest from Clubs, Councils and Community Groups to host the Junior League 11&U Meet.
