Looking for a Coaching Course?

Below you will find details regarding upcoming coaching courses being conducted in South Australia over the next few months.

Please note that these courses have shifted dates slightly as Swimming Australia have recently revised their coaching pathway requirements and it is now a mandatory requirement to hold the Teacher of Competitive Strokes qualification (Swim Australia or Austswim) prior to attending a Bronze licence coaching course.

With this new requirement in place we have scheduled the courses to allow participants the opportunity to gain the Competitive strokes qualification first before proceeding with the bronze course shortly after.

Course Dates:

  • Swim Australia Teacher of Competitive Strokes, Port Pirie Swimming Centre, 10th January 2019, Conducted by SwimmingSA, Contact cory.bampton@sa.swimming.org.au

  • Swimming Australia Bronze Licence Coaching Course, Port Pirie Swimming Centre, 16th of February 2019, Conducted by SwimmingSA, Contact cory.bampton@sa.swimming.org.au

  • Swim Australia Teacher of Competitive strokes, Sue Pryor Swim School Strathalbyn, 17th March 2019, Conducted by Sue Pryor admin.spswim@bigpond.com

In addition to the above courses mentor coaches Carol Veldhuyzen and Cory Bampton will be in attendance during the country champs in Port Pirie to assist with signing off practical assessment and mentoring requirements of both courses.
