
From 9 - 14 June, the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre becomes the heart of Australian swimming as it hosts the 2025 Australian Swimming Trials, and this year, South Australia is making a huge splash!
70 elite swimmers from 12 clubs will be diving in this week, chasing their dreams of donning the green and gold and representing Australia at the World Aquatics Championships from 11th July - 3rd August, and World Para Championships from 21st - 27th September, both taking place in Singapore.
Marion leads with a stacked squad of 22 athletes, closely followed by Immanuel (9), Norwood (8), and Kent Town (6). Flying the SA flag alongside them are:

- Henley & Grange
- Onkaparinga
- Purruna
- Southern Performance
- Tea Tree Gully
- Western Aquatic
This is a team effort from all corners of South Australia and the nation is about to see just how strong our swimming community really is - right here in our home state!
Athletes to Watch
Here are just a few of the incredible names making headlines in the lanes:
- Harrison Biddell (Marion) – A rising breaststroke talent, chasing the podium in the Men’s 100m Breastroke (1:03.41).
- Brittany Castelluzzo (Tea Tree Gully) – Lightning over the water in the Women’s 100m Butterfly (57.80).
- Kyle Chalmers (Marion) – The Olympic champ is back in town and flying through the Men’s 50m Free (21.98).
- Taylor Corry (Purruna) – Paralympic star in the Women’s 200m Freestyle Multi-Class (2:17.97).
- Rowan Crothers (Marion) – Blazing with speed in the Men’s 50m Freestyle Multi-Class (23.79).
- Joshua Palmer (STARplex) – Veteran strength in the Men’s 50m Breaststroke (29.19).
- James McKechnie (STARplex) – Power in the Men’s 100m Breaststroke (1:02.51).
- Matt Temple (Marion) – World-class flyer tearing it up in the Men’s 100m Butterfly (50.60).
- Molly Walker (Southern Performance) – A freestyle force in the Women’s 400m Free (4:11.44).
