With Swimming Australia's announcement to cancel the 2020 Hancock Prospecting Australian Age Championships and Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Championships due to the breakout of the COVID-19 Virus, SwimmingSA would like to officially recognise the athletes that had qualified to compete at these Championships.
The Championship Meets are the culmination of years of hard work and dedication by the athletes, coaches and family members involved. The qualifying standards for these two meets are incredibly difficult to achieve and SwimmingSA would like to celebrate and recognise the achievement of this challenging feat.
Athletes will shortly receive a letter of congratulations from the SwimmingSA Chairman and a 2020 Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Championships or Australian Age Championships commemorative swimming cap to recognise this achievement.
We would also like to recognise and thank our South Australian officials that were selected to officiate at these meets. Without the continued support of our dedicated volunteer officials, meets like this would not be possible.
