We’d like to update you on some changes to the 2025 SA Age Championships due to ongoing refurbishment at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre. The works currently in progress include filtration upgrades, liner repairs, general enhancements, dive tower refurbishment, and improvements to pool accessibility and safety, all of which are affecting the dive/water polo pool. While we are working closely with the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing and the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre to minimise disruption, project delays mean the dive/water polo pool is now expected to remain closed into March. Unfortunately, this impacts our ability to deliver the 2025 SA Age Championships as originally planned.
To ensure the event can still go ahead safely and in the best possible environment for competitors, SwimmingSA has made several adjustments to the format and schedule.
What’s changing?

Five-day event: the championships will now run from Thursday, 6th to Monday, 10th March.

Updated program: check the revised program of event for the new competition schedule.

Extra warm up time: each heats and finals session will now have a 40min break for warm-up in the competition pool.
- Warm-up & cool-down access: the 25m program pool in the leisure area will be open during racing for circle swimming.

If you’ve already entered or purchased tickets/programs:

You must re-enter the event and/or re-purchase tickets and programs before the closing date: 9:00am ACDT on Monday, 17 February. Enter here

A swim central credit has been issued for the value of your original transaction, including any system fees or charges.

You can apply your credit voucher at the checkout.

If you purchased both entries and tickets/programs, you’ll see multiple vouchers in your account, assigned to the family member the purchase was made for.
- These vouchers allow you to retain the full value of your purchase, including system fees.
If you are now unable to attend, refunds can be provided prior to the close of entries, but please note that system fees will not be refunded. To request a refund, please contact us via email.
Accreditation applications:
All previously submitted accreditations (technical officials, coaches and team support) have been cancelled. You will need to re-nominate for the session/s you wish to attend.
