Across Pools and Clubs: A Dynamic SESA Interclub Season

It was an action packed 4 months for the clubs in the South East Swimming Association (SESA). With 6 Interclub meets held from November 2024 to March 2025, swimmers from Mount Gambier, Bordertown Dolphins, Penola and Keith Swimming Clubs had the opportunity to compete across long course, short course and yard pools striving for personal best times and gaining points for their clubs.

With SESA competitions, swimmers have the opportunity to race in 100m Championship Events, Aged Events and also Graded Events where they race swimmers of similar times, rather than ages. Records were established by the SESA Committee in 2022/2023 for the Aged and Championship Events with many being broken this year.

Mount Gambier proved to be too strong, winning both the Championship Shield and the Aged/Graded Shield. SESA Interclub meets are a fantastic way swimmers of all ages compete, enjoy the sport of swimming, build confidence and aim for time improvements.

We would like to thank the wonderful volunteers who help make our meets so successful, especially our referees! Congratulations to those volunteers who have achieved official accreditations this year.
